Hello everyone! I have not really updated as much and blogged as much, which is a bummer, since I started law school. But here we are! Finally! I am starting K Diary, a subcategory within the Personal category. I have decided to write more about stuff that matter to me, including my life update, daily ramblings, rants, opinions and personal outlook on life in general. This makes me miss the old blogging days when we don’t have to actually curate everything we post. They were just random and raw.
So, anyway, onto the life updates…
My husband started PhD studies this year. So yeah, we are on long distance relationship. It is hard. I thought I am already well acquainted with the idea of long distance relationship, but here I am struggling. For the last almost seven years, I have not been away for more than one week from my husband. So yeah. IT IS DIFFICULT! But, I am very very proud that my husband has good grades in his first term at DLSU. He is really brilliant and I am in awe!
Zedie, my first born, garnered the Top 1 spot in his class during his moving up ceremony in his kinder garten. I am very much proud of this achievement. He delivered the welcome address during the ceremony and he did really really well. I am forever in awe with this kid.
Fawzy is starting daycare this June! How time flies! Our two kids are going to school. I bought everything that they needed already. A bit expensive. But it is all worth it. My husband and I have worked hard for all of our earnings. Alhamdulillah.
I am proud of my two children. More than the grades though, I always pray that they will always be the coolness of our and everybody’s eyes. I hope they bring hope and happiness to all the people they meet. I hope they grow to be kind, loving, caring, God-fearing individuals.
My sister-in-law is graduating from her Masters degree. Ma sha Allah. I know how hard she worked for this and I am extremely happy for her!
My nieces and nephews graduated, moved up with awards and honors. Alhamdulillah!
I recently finished second year of law school. Hopefully, I passed and did well on all of the exams so that I get good grades this semester. I have been working extra hard at school, considering that I still have a household and office to maintain. So far, so good. I am doing my best for this humble journey of mine. I am always praying for Allah’s guidance through it all. It is not easy, but I am persevering.
I also have converted the other room in our house to a personal study area. I loved how it turned out and I have been studying here since January. I have collected so many law books already. The amount of investment we have poured into this journey is not even funny anymore. So, I really have no other choice but to make good in my studies. My husband has been my steady inspiration in this. He, more than anyone, motivates me to do better. Alhamdulillah.
I hope and pray that after all of these, may Allah call upon us, me and my husband, to visit the holy Makkah and do hajj and umrah. After all, we are persevering and working hard in this life to be able to worship Him in a much better condition.
I hope and pray that whoever is reading this may also get good tidings.
Salam. <3
